6th day news splash

Puppy's are doing just perfect. There is plenty of milk maybe little bit too much because puppy's could be also small seals all have doupled their weight already yesterday...  Two pictures below are taken yesterday. Others are taken today.

3th day

Puppies are doing fat. Kitka is taking intensive care of her trio and puppies are growing really fast. In three days they have almost doupled their weight. Here is short video of action that is possible see around here... :) Not HD-level but at least something. Puppies from right Citius, middle Altius and left Fortius.

Christmas gifts!

O'boy what a Christmas! Kitka is sharp girl and she keeps her timing. She started to get little resless around 9 am and at 12 am she gave birth of first puppy. It was male that was unfortunately out of membrains and alreaydy breathless. It took maybe half an hour to get next puppy it was second male (380g). After that two girls (360g and 370g) followed and last one was little bit smaller boy 320g. All puppies and mom where feeling fine and Kitka had plenty of milk. During the first night small boy's breathing started to sound heavy and we lost him next afternoon. He probably got some milk to his longs and got pneumonia due to that. Life in these first days is so fragile and we where very unfortuned to loose two puppies from this litter. To over come our loss I decide to give this puppies nick names untill they get real names. Puppies will be get their names from latin saying Citius, altius, fortius = faster, higher, powerfully.

All puppies and mom are doing well. There is enought milk to feed thee times more puppies so puppies have got some 120-150g weight in just two days. Let's keep fingers grossed that everything goes fine from now on...
